Here is the scary part. Did you know that the STIMULUS bill has BILLIONS in it that also redistributes YOUR kids tax dollars beyond what the budget did?
For instance, page 160 contains $2,000,000,000 for additional childcare for low-income families. That is ON TOP of the childcare assistance they already get from the states. Also included is $2.25 BILLION more for low-income housing. Did I miss something here? Isn't giving homes to people that can't afford them cause this mess in the first place?
The list goes on and on...Please do tell me how these stimulate the economy and job growth

- $225,000,000 for grants to combat violence against women
- $50,000,000 transitional housing assistance grants for victims of domestic violence
- $100,000,000 McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act
- $310,000,000 Indian Reservation Roads program
- $170,000,000 shall be for the Park Roads
- $60,000,000 shall be for the Forest Highway Program
- $10,000,000 shall be for the Refuge Roads program
- $550,000,000 provided for investments at Indian reservations
- $5,000,000 for Amtrak
- $4,000,000,000 public housing agencies
- $510,000,000 Native American Housing Block Grants
- $2,000,000,000 development of abandoned and foreclosed homes
- $1,500,000,000 homelessness prevention and rapid re-housing
- $100,000,000 Residential Lead-Based Paint Hazard Reduction
- $500,000,000 WIC
- $145,000,000 fiscal year 2009 /$150,000,000 in fiscal year 2010 supplemental nutrition assistance program
- $5,000,000 Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations
- $4,700,000,000 Broadband Technology Opportunities Program
- $650,000,000 Digital-to-Analog Converter Box Program
Again, these stimulate NOTHING but more unemployment. Louisiana is a case study. If you encourage those to stay unemployed, they remain that way.
