Redistributing the Weath....More Than You Will Ever Know

We have all heard about the MASSIVE redistribution of wealth in the new budget. How much we just don't know yet, nor will we for sometime. What happened to Social Security going broke? So, now we have social security broke, medicare, and soon to be health insurance plan. So far, nearly 4 TRILLION dollars has been removed from taxpayers and given to those that CHOSE not to work.

Here is the scary part. Did you know that the STIMULUS bill has BILLIONS in it that also redistributes YOUR kids tax dollars beyond what the budget did?

For instance, page 160 contains $2,000,000,000 for additional childcare for low-income families. That is ON TOP of the childcare assistance they already get from the states. Also included is $2.25 BILLION more for low-income housing. Did I miss something here? Isn't giving homes to people that can't afford them cause this mess in the first place?

The list goes on and on...Please do tell me how these stimulate the economy and job growth

  • $100,000,000 for free school lunches
  • $225,000,000 for grants to combat violence against women
  • $50,000,000 transitional housing assistance grants for victims of domestic violence
  • $100,000,000 McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act
  • $310,000,000 Indian Reservation Roads program
  • $170,000,000 shall be for the Park Roads
  • $60,000,000 shall be for the Forest Highway Program
  • $10,000,000 shall be for the Refuge Roads program
  • $550,000,000 provided for investments at Indian reservations
  • $5,000,000 for Amtrak
  • $4,000,000,000 public housing agencies
  • $510,000,000 Native American Housing Block Grants
  • $2,000,000,000 development of abandoned and foreclosed homes
  • $1,500,000,000 homelessness prevention and rapid re-housing
  • $100,000,000 Residential Lead-Based Paint Hazard Reduction
  • $500,000,000 WIC
  • $145,000,000 fiscal year 2009 /$150,000,000 in fiscal year 2010 supplemental nutrition assistance program
  • $5,000,000 Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations
  • $4,700,000,000 Broadband Technology Opportunities Program
  • $650,000,000 Digital-to-Analog Converter Box Program

Again, these stimulate NOTHING but more unemployment. Louisiana is a case study. If you encourage those to stay unemployed, they remain that way.

Obama Cost US Economy $1.7 Billion in 1 Day

While claiming to stem the losses in the job markets, the Obama administration is destroying others. On the same day the administration dropped a financial bomb on the American people, with a WHOPPING budget, they announced another plan that got little notice at all.

With the swiftness and confidence not seen since Chavez took power in Venezuela, President Obama is destroying ENTIRE sectors of the US Economy, costing us valuable jobs each day. One of the many victims of the day: The Student Loan companies, plus a twist. Let's review the sector today, after the Obama administration announced the Nationalization of the Student Loan Industry:

C
NNI
SLM
STU
2.46
4.91
5.80
41.51
-0.06
-5.83
-2.59
-11.63

To put this into prospective, STU employs about 2,000 people, all whom will most probably be laid off due to the new expansion of government powers. Between the companies solely listed above, Barak Obama IS RESPONSIBLE for the loss of $1.7 BILLION dollars of wealth in the US economy. How do we get those numbers? Take a look at the outstanding shares of the companies listed above, and multiply that by the dollars lost. The companies lost $1.7 billion in market cap in a SINGLE day on the announced plan that the government would in essence shut them down.

To add a twist to the equation, notice the first company list above: "C" Yep, that's Citibank, which owns a majority stake in Student Loan Corp.

The government is running an extremely dangerous precedent with the move. The government claims to be able to run the entities more efficiently than the private sector, but please remind me what they have effectively run? Social Security? The United Postal System? Freddie Mac? Fannie Mae? Medicare? Exactly. It appears the government is bent on running Citibank completely out of business.
